Providing Pediatric Dermatology care to children and adolescents.
Meet The Team
Latitude Pediatric Dermatology is a welcoming medical practice in south-central Edmonton that focuses on providing exceptional pediatric and pediatric dermatology care. Our lead physician, Dr. Don McConnell, is a highly qualified member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and he has also completed a board-certified fellowship in pediatric dermatology. Dr. McConnell is passionate about offering comprehensive, family-centered care to children from birth to 18 years of age.
Our dedicated office staff takes great pride in creating a caring and positive experience for both children and families. We understand the importance of building trusting relationships with our patients and their loved ones, and we are committed to providing a comfortable and friendly environment for all who visit us.
Whether your child needs routine check-ups, treatment for a skin condition, or any other pediatric healthcare services, you can trust our team at Latitude Pediatric Dermatology to deliver compassionate and high-quality care.
“I hold a deep sense of respect and gratitude for our tight-knit and committed team at Latitude!”
Dr. Don McConnellMD, FRCPC ( Pediatrics), Fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology - Latitude Pediatric Dermatology

Dr. McConnell spent 15 years working as Pediatric Emergency Doctor in Halifax and Edmonton. He then completed his fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology in Phoenix, Arizona.
Outside of work, he enjoys sailing, golfing, tennis, and spending time with his three kids. You may even see Dr. McConnell around town in our local hockey and lacrosse arenas.

Jennifer Popil is a highly skilled and dedicated professional Office Manager with a keen eye for detail, a passion for organizational excellence, exceptional leadership abilities, and expertise in streamlining processes, resulting in efficient office operations and increased productivity.

Jennifer is an awesome nurse who works directly with Dr. McConnell. She is extremely educated and experienced in pediatrics but has particular expertise in pediatric dermatology. First-time patients will often see Jennifer before seeing Dr. McConnell. She has a very friendly, quirky (in a good way) approach to pediatric dermatology patients.

Our Story
Our primary objective is to deliver quality healthcare services to young patients in Edmonton in a welcoming and professional atmosphere. However, once a patient reaches the age of eighteen, their healthcare needs will be transferred to an adult care provider to ensure continuity of care.
